Warranty Policy

As passionate riders ourselves, we understand the thrill of embracing unpredictable terrains and challenging conditions during our rides. We know firsthand the impact it can have on both rider and equipment, and that's why we stand behind the quality of our gear with a warranty period of 5 years. We believe in crafting products that withstand the challenges of every ride, just like the riders who inspire us.

What’s covered

Warranty only covers any defects in materials used to manufacture the product, defects in workmanship under normal use. Manufacturing faults discovered upon delivery or during regular riding use.

During the warranty period Rahgear will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of product that prove defective only under the above mentioned provisions. 

What’s not covered
  • Negligence, mishandling, improper care, user errors, damage caused by natural disaster, or by theft or loss of the product.
  • Wear & tear (scuffs, color fade, frayed webbing), improper use, UV or heat damage, chemical exposure,transport damage, mildew, or storage damage.
  • Crash/impact damage, sharp-object cuts, abrasion from exhaust/tyres/chain, overloading or incorrect mounting. 
  • Cosmetics (logos, zipper pulls) that don’t affect function.
  • Rain covers & waterproof inner liners: 6-month limited warranty.
  • Hydration bladders & hoses: no warranty (consumables).
  • Third-party modifications/repairs, counterfeit goods, non-Rahgear parts.
  • The warranty excludes loss, damage, cost or expense of whatsoever nature, to personal property, the user or third parties; directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from or in connection with any manufacturing defect in the product. 

Note - If your product is not covered under warranty, if possible we will repair it under our Lifetime Repair Service at a minimal cost.

How to register

Scan the QR on the product tag or register via the Warranty Registration page on rahgear.in within 30 days of purchase (recommended for faster service).

If warranty is not registered on the website, a proof of purchase, such as a tax invoice with the date of purchase from an authorized dealer or an order number for purchases made on the website, is required.

How to claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer support team with proof of purchase (order number/ tax invoice). 

Email - support@rahgear.in with subject “Warranty Claim – <Product Name> – <Order #>”.

Include photos/videos, purchase proof, and a brief issue description.

Our team will assess eligibility of the claim and guide you through the process and provide further instructions on returning the product post evaluation.

You ship the product to us (prepaid); we cover the return shipping after service (India addresses). International return shipping details shared case-by-case.

Remedies

If the product is found to be eligible for warranty coverage, we will repair or replace the item free of charge. Please note that the warranty claim processing time may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the availability of replacement parts. If a replacement isn’t available, a comparable model or store credit may be offered.

Turnaround

Assessment typically happens within 4 business days of receiving the item. Repair/replacement timelines depend on parts and workload; we’ll keep you posted.

General terms of warranty
  1. Warranty is non-transferable and limited to the original purchaser.
  2. Liability limited to repair/replacement; Rahgear isn’t liable for incidental or consequential damages, loss of use, or rider downtime.
  3. We recommend our customers to check the condition of goods right before accepting it from the forwarder (number of packages, intactness of tape with company's logo, damage of box). Eventual damage or incompleteness of the consignment caused by the forwarder needs to be settled with the forwarder and not with us.
  4. As we will provide necessary assistance to our customers in such a case, we recommend the customers to inform us on support@rahgear.in as soon as possible. If the customer accepts the packaging showing obvious damage or incompleteness from the carrier and confirms that by signing the delivery note then it is not possible to additionally make a warranty claim.
  5. The customer is entitled to submit the warranty claim only for faulty goods which were purchased from Rahgear or from Rahgear authorised dealers. Claim has to be raised before the expiration of the warranty period. 
  6. The customer has to prove the validity of the warranty by submitting the bill of sale, and if the goods have been previously claimed under warranty, the customer must also submit that previous warranty claim.
