BUILDING RAHGEAR

Made with care and unconditionally loved by our customers.

How it all started

Rahgear started the way most good rides do: with a problem and a stubborn refusal to accept it. As riders ourselves we kept bumping into the same gaps - every bag we tried did one thing well and fumbled three others—fitment on different bikes, weather, access, conversion off the bike. So we built what we couldn’t find:

  • Luggage that fits many bikes without drama
  • Modular systems that scale with the ride
  • Waterproof where it matters
  • Quick on/quick off, and
  • Usable off the bike

We started Rahgear in 2019 with a simple frustration: great rides shouldn’t be held back by average luggage. In 2021 our first product rolled out—not from a boardroom, but from late nights, busted prototypes, and test rides that didn’t end when the sun did.

We’re riders first. Designers second. And stubborn about both.

Our motto is Rebel. Adapt. Travel. That isn’t a line on a sticker. It’s how we build: question the obvious, refine what matters, and make gear that disappears when you’re riding—and shows up when you need it.

How we build

Real roads are our lab. We prototype, ride, break, fix, repeat. You’ll feel it in the details: abrasion-resistant fabrics, dry solutions that stay dry, glove-friendly hardware, MOLLE for upgrades, and harnesses that mount clean across different bikes. Designed and manufactured in India, so feedback turns into better gear—fast.

What we stand for

  • By riders, for riders: real terrain is our lab—highways, broken backroads, monsoons, heat.
  • Form follows function (and abuse): clean lines, zero gimmicks, every stitch earns its keep.
  • Modularity wins: gear should adapt to your bike, luggage rack, and day plan—not the other way around.
  • Repair over replace: rides leave scars; gear can be fixed. We offer a 3-Year Warranty and Lifetime Repair because longevity is the most sustainable choice.
  • Made in India, proudly: local manufacturing gives us control, speed, and a shorter path from feedback to better gear.

Founders’ note

We didn’t plan a brand; we tried to fix our own rides. One bag became five prototypes, then a dozen, then a small room that always smelled of fabric, hot coffee, and chain lube. We learned that reliability isn’t loud—it’s quiet, steady, and slightly stubborn.

Rahgear is our way of putting that into the world: gear that minds its job so you can mind the road. We build close to home in India, argue over the smallest details, and change what doesn’t earn its space. If you spot a better way to do something, tell us. We’re still riders. We’re still learning. And we’re always building.

Thanks for trusting us with your miles.
